Well the snow is gone so it is officially road construction season here. As often as they tear that up (94 between the Twin Cities and Chicago by the looks of it) I don't know why they don't add an extra lane because of all the truck traffic (this includes 90 as well).

Didn’t the US try to seize the intervening part of Canada at one stage? I seem to remember there was some obscure war in the early 19th century in the course of which the US invaded Toronto or Montreal.
